Best advice for neck pain- KEEP YOUR HEAD ON STRAIGHT

Avoid keeping your head turned, bent or tilted to the side for more than a few minutes.

Therefore you don’t look down at your phone to read or play games.

Don’t read or watch TV  in bed with your head propped out of position.

Sleeping on your stomach must be avoided.

Never hold your phone to your ear with your shoulder.

Repetitive movements such as lifting, pulling, sweeping, digging, bending or twisting should be limited or avoided. They are frequent causes of neck pain.

Switch hands frequently when you do engage in those activities. Switch sides when carrying objects, like a handbag.

Sitting in a chair without arms puts lots of strain on your neck. You should sit straight up in a  supported chair.When watching TV avoid soft couches and sit in a chair with arms looking straight forward.
