Cold Laser for Pain Relief

Cold Laser Speeds Pain Relief and Healing

From the ancient Greeks, Romans , to the Russians and Chinese, and finally to the United States including my offices in Waterbury and Watertown, CT. Cold Laser therapy is surging in its use to successfully treat patients with all kinds of pain. Cold lasers are far different from surgical lasers. Heat is minimally if at all generated and as a result the treatment is safe and comfortable. The laser emits concentrated light that is one wavelength that can penetrate safely into the body. The laser light energy works somewhat like how sunlight gives stimulating energy for plants to grow. But instead of a plant it helps the body to relieve pain and heal the injured cells. As a Doctor it is exciting to see patients with severe Arthritis of the knee immediately get up  and walk with less pain.

Dorothy an elderly woman from Woodbury, CT with advanced arthritis and pain in her neck would have to turn her whole body to look left. I applied cold laser to her neck and shoulders, stretched  and mobilized her neck and her pain dropped from an 8 out of 10 to 3  out of 10 within minutes. Dorothy was having a hard time showing benefit from so many other treatments.

LLLT or Low Level Laser Therapy is Becoming a Part of Mainstream Medicine

Several scientist at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Mass. General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass.  are studying how powerful and effective low level laser therapy or cold laser can be in treating a variety of health conditions. The nice part about cold laser is that it is very safe and comfortable. It can help relieve pain of arthritis, shingles, post surgical or of the muscles, joints and bones, like headaches, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, back, hip, knee and ankle. This is why medicine is beginning to embrace to embrace its use.
